Meet the Team
After having worked in a variety of settings, and with a combined 25 + years experience in psychological assessment, we started Monarch to provide comprehensive assessment services to the Twin Cities area. Guided by our training and work experience, as well as our values of collaboration, compassion, and inclusion, we help clients navigate the assessment process. We view psychological assessment as an opportunity to better understand an individual's strengths and challenges, and as a process that helps to identify strategies, interventions, and supports that will foster growth and lessen stress and frustration.
We truly look forward to working with you and your family.

Administrative Assistant
I am a mom to three teenagers who keep my evenings and weekends full with dance team, hockey, skiing, and a long list of other sports and hobbies. I love to travel, especially to warm places in the winter as I have lived in Minnesota my whole life. My official career is in Speech-Language Pathology. I have over 20 years working in clinics, hospitals and schools which has given me a keen understanding of the areas of need Monarch serves. I love animals, and have a dog and 3 cats. In my spare time, I enjoy long walks, golf, attending concerts, and listening to audio books. Some of my favorite authors include Kelly Corrigan, Jodi Picoult, Gillian Flynn and David Sedaris.

Clinical Background:
I trained in a variety of settings as part of my graduate studies, including community mental health centers, partial hospital programs, court/forensic clinics, and a behavioral medicine practice. My postdoctoral fellowship was focused on delivering psychotherapy to clients on an individual basis and assessment services to children and adults.
Following the completion of my studies, I worked at an assessment practice in the greater Washington DC metro area for 8 years. There, I provided comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a variety of concerns including ADHD, learning disorders, autism, and emotional difficulties. Just prior to co-founding Monarch Learning & Attention Center, I continued to provide comprehensive evaluations at a learning organization in the Minneapolis area.
